Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been duly executed on 14-March-2019 for the supply of SOx Scrubbers and Ballast water treatment system (BWTS) between HI AIR Korea which has Korean domestic market share over 90% for HVAC equipment in marine & offshore application, and TECHCROSS who is the global leading supplier of BWTS.

The recent key issue in offshore & marine industry is environmental regulation. There has been keen interest in green ships with BWTS which will be in effective as of September 2019 after two years grace period since 2016 when the Ballast Water Treatment Act had been adopted by IMO, and SOx Scrubbers which is one of the solutions that can fulfill the more stringent SOx emission requirements from year of 2010. The ship owners are in difficult position to select the most suitable solution as there are too many solutions in the market to cope with these environmental regulations

HI AIR Korea and TECHCROSS are now able to provide packaged solution for SOx Scrubbers and BWTS via this MOU. It is a general market expectation that both company will provide the clients with better products and services by this packaged solution.

By this MOU, HI AIR Korea and TECHCROSS expect to secure more orders through sharing the sales information for clients and marine business which has been archived by plenty of the references in each business field.
